I was fortunate to be able to provide a potential employer with a work-test. In the end they chose to move forward with another artist, for good reasons. I still enjoyed the test immensely, I did my best and feel happy I took the shot. Failure and success go hand in hand I suppose, but rejection always stings.
In any case, here's the result, so perhaps some of ya'll might enjoy it :D

I'm sad to hear this man, but honestly I love the design and rendering!
Thanks Filip! I appreciate it buddy :) The explanation I was given was pretty much that the studio decided to move forward with someone whose style was more in line with their established Art-direction. Unless I delude myself, I don't think the design or the level of polish was the main issue.
