Jeff, what can I say, my respect and admiration for your work goes beyond words. Yours is one of the finest compliments I have ever received. Thank you. Mark of Kri, in my opinion, was a milestone in visual design for video-games, and I will always remember it. Thanks for putting this smile on my face and making me giggle like a child :). I'll be following your blog like a hawk!
Thank you very much for putting this up! It's helpful to know where you got your information/inspiration, I've been struggling to get a handle on this type of painting, especially blending the graphic forms and shapes with realistic lighting. This is excellent!
I love your work! Especially Colonel Cyanide. We would have love to have you on the Mark of Kri ;) jeffmerghart.blogspot.com

ReplyDeleteThanks Nate, glad it helps! Definitely check out Scott Robertson's rendering matte surface DVD's, they're a wonderful entry point to rendering. ;)
